The integration gap

Legacy panels don't speak modern. That silence costs you.

A nurse call panel that can't reach the ward phones. A fire system writing events nobody reads. Access logs sitting in a cardfile nobody queries. Each gap is a handover that fails, a compliance window left open, or a call-out charged to someone's budget when the integration breaks.

The alternative to fixing it isn't zero cost. Rip-and-replace means capital approval, a tender, and months before anything changes. A one-off script works until the person who wrote it leaves, or the next Windows update breaks it.

Sentinel Bridge is the third option: configure a pipeline on the client Windows box, route the event, and leave a supported service running. Book a Sentinel Bridge demo to see what a pipeline looks like for your specific systems — or fill in the form above and describe what you are connecting.

What Sentinel Bridge does

One pipeline per problem. Configure, connect, done.

Build a Source → Filter → Transform → Destination pipeline for each integration. Runs on the client Windows box. Works fully offline. Every event capturable into the reporting store.

Connect any source

Serial panels, TCP and UDP feeds, nurse call systems, fire and access control feeds, HL7 streams, Modbus, MQTT, databases, file watches, webhooks and APIs. Fourteen-plus input types including raw serial with protocol decoders and regex IO modifiers for proprietary message formats.

Filter and transform events

AND/OR rules over any field so only the right events move downstream. Protocol decoders reshape proprietary message lines into what the next device expects. Regex IO modifiers trim, reformat or extract exactly the data the destination needs — no custom code required.

Route to modern outputs

Push to annunciators, pagers, phone TTS, Teams, Slack, email, Power BI, Azure, SQL databases, APIs and the Contacts address book. Fan one event out to many destinations from a single pipeline. Premium protocols — Sedco, HL7, Tecom C4, TAP, Gallagher and Hanwha — are add-ons on Standard and Professional; Enterprise

Capture, report and prove response times

Every event lands in a normalised store. Schedule PDF, CSV or XLSX reports. Search event history. Set failure alerts with dedupe and digest. Prove nurse call or alarm response times from captured data — without touching the source system's proprietary software.

How teams use Sentinel Bridge

Commission it in a shift. Leave it running.

The path from enquiry to a running pipeline depends on who you are and what you are connecting. Here is what each track looks like.

System integrators and trades

You are on a client job. The panel won't talk to the screen. Buy a Connect or Standard licence from the pricing page — perpetual if the client owns the box, annual if they prefer a subscription. Install the Windows service on the site PC. Connect your serial or TCP source, set the filter, add the destination — annunciator, Teams, pager, email. Test the pipeline. Hand it over as a supported, updatable Windows service and invoice the licence to the job. If you are not sure which tier or premium protocol fits your panel, fill in the form with what you are connecting and the site count — we will come back with a straight answer.

Hospital and aged care IT

Your nurse call system reaches the ward phones today — but what happens when a call goes unanswered? Where is the response-time data your compliance team needs? Sentinel Bridge connects Sedco, ASM and compatible nurse call systems over their native protocol (add-on licence), routes events to phones and annunciators, captures every call into a searchable store, and runs on your own server with no cloud dependency. Evaluation starts with a 15-minute engineer call. Fill in the form, describe the nurse call system and your site count, and we will set up a walkthrough.

Facilities managers and BMS

Modbus relays, Moxa NPort adapters, MQTT sensors and databases that surface data in formats nobody can act on. Sentinel Bridge captures events from those systems, pushes live alerts to Teams or email, and feeds normalised records to Power BI or a SQL store for your scheduled reports. Data stays on site. No vendor cloud. Your IT team owns the box and the service. Fill in the systems and site count in the form and we will map out what a pipeline would look like for your building setup.

Questions buyers ask before booking a Sentinel Bridge demo

Frequently Asked Questions

Will Sentinel Bridge work with our old serial panel?
Sentinel Bridge supports 14+ input types including raw serial and TCP, plus protocol decoders and regex IO modifiers for proprietary message formats. In the Systems to connect field, describe the panel and where you want events to go — or book a 15-minute call and bring a capture from site if you have one.
Can we buy a licence today and commission it on this job?
Yes. Prices are on /pricing — choose annual, monthly, or perpetual. Perpetual suits a client site you are handing over; monthly works for short-term project work. Install the Windows service on the client box, activate the signed licence, and you are building pipelines the same session.
Does our data leave the site?
Not unless you route it out yourself. Sentinel Bridge is an on-premises Windows service. The dashboard runs over HTTPS on the local machine. Secrets stay local. Nothing is sent to any cloud by default — routing to Azure, Teams or Power BI only happens when you configure that destination.
What if a source device goes offline mid-job?
Each pipeline has its own retries, a circuit breaker, and a dead-letter queue. One failed source does not stop other pipelines. Events that cannot be delivered are held in the dead-letter queue and replayed automatically when the device reconnects.
Is a premium protocol like Sedco or HL7 included in the standard licence?
Not in Connect, Standard, or Professional — premium protocols are add-ons ($300/yr per protocol, or $900 perpetual). Enterprise includes the full catalogue. List the systems you are connecting in the form and we will confirm exactly which add-on you need before you buy.
What should I put in the systems-to-connect field?
Describe the two ends: what is sending the event and where you want it to go. For example: Sedco nurse call + Teams alerts, or Tecom C4 + Power BI reporting. That is enough for us to come back with a specific recommendation, usually by the next business day.
