Sentinel Bridge Integrations — Nurse Call, Fire, Access, HL7, TAP, Power BI
Almost any building, security, clinical or industrial panel can become a source, and almost any screen, phone, pager or data platform can become a destination — without replacing existing hardware.
Panels talk. Nothing listens. Work stops.
Every Connector, Classified
From Nurse Call Integration to Power BI: What Connects to What
Every connector is classified into two groups — everyday (included on all licence tiers from Connect upward) and premium (add-on per protocol, or included in full on Enterprise). Below is the complete catalogue.
Everyday Inputs — Included on Every Tier
Serial (COM/RS-232), TCP listener and client, UDP, file watch, REST API inbound, webhook receiver, MQTT broker or client, database query, and Multi fan-in for merging multiple feeds into one pipeline. These are included on every licence from Connect upward — no extra add-on required.

Premium Inputs — Add-on per Protocol, or
Sedco nurse call, ASM nurse call, HL7 MLLP, Tecom C4, Gallagher access, Hanwha CCTV, TAP paging in, Modbus RTU/TCP, phone call TTS, and Azure Event Hub. Each requires a separate premium connector licence ($300/year, $30/month, or $900 perpetual). Enterprise includes the full catalogue from day one.

Everyday Outputs — Included on All Tiers
SMTP email to any mail server, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Power BI streaming dataset, Contacts address book (multi-channel fan-out to phone, SMS, email, Teams and Slack per contact), webhook push, REST API call, and database write. All covered within your licence's included destination slot count.

Premium Outputs — Add-on per Protocol, or
TAP paging out (numeric and alphanumeric), outbound phone call with TTS to a PSTN or VoIP gateway, Azure routing, and Modbus relay write for hardware actuators. Spare destination slots on Connect, Standard and Professional do not activate these protocols — a premium connector add-on or Enterprise licence is required.

Nurse Call Integration and Five More Site Types
Choose your sector to see which connectors apply, which licence to start with, and what the pipeline does on your site.
Nurse Call (Sedco / ASM)
Sedco and ASM nurse call connectors decode proprietary serial and TCP event streams into structured events Sentinel Bridge can route. Point alarms at phone TTS, TAP pager, Microsoft Teams, or a secondary annunciator — all from one pipeline. Add the HL7 connector if you need clinical context from the ward system alongside call events. Start with Professional for the full audit trail of every call and where it landed. For a single-feed site, Connect with a premium connector add-on is the fastest path to a working integration. Pricing at /pricing — book a demo at /contact to test against your feed.
Access Control (Tecom C4 / Gallagher)
Tecom C4 and Gallagher access events carry who/where/when data that the native log interface does not always expose to third-party systems. Sentinel Bridge reads the access event stream directly, filters by door zone or cardholder group, and writes records to a database, Power BI streaming dataset, or a normalised reporting store. The C4 connector is a single premium add-on — put it on a Professional licence and the audit trail runs automatically without changes to the access control system. See /for-integrators for the trade commissioning path, including perpetual licence options for project work.
Fire & Life-Safety
Most fire panels output over serial RS-232 or TCP in a panel-specific string format. A protocol decoder and regex IO modifier normalise the raw string into clean, structured events. Route normalised alarms to email, Teams, a Modbus relay, or a database. Professional logs every event and its delivery status — useful for compliance reporting without touching the fire panel's own software or firmware. Most fire panel serial feeds use only everyday connectors. No premium add-on is required for a standard serial fire integration, which means you can start on Connect or Standard.
BMS & Facilities (Modbus / MQTT / Power BI)
Modbus RTU and TCP reads from building management controllers, MQTT feeds from IoT sensors, and database queries from BMS historians all arrive in Sentinel Bridge as structured events. Filter by value threshold, transform the payload, and push to Power BI streaming, a database, Teams, or a Modbus relay for actuation. The Modbus connector is a premium add-on; MQTT is included on all tiers. Professional's 10 independent pipelines handle multiple building zones running concurrently on the same on-premises machine — each zone its own isolated flow.
TAP Paging
TAP paging in and TAP paging out are both premium connectors. The inbound TAP connector receives messages from a paging network and brings them into the Sentinel Bridge pipeline alongside other alert types — useful for centralising pager traffic with nurse call, fire or access events in one place. The outbound connector sends formatted messages to a TAP-capable transmitter. Add both as separate premium connector add-ons on Connect, Standard or Professional, or include them under Enterprise for estate-wide paging operations without per-protocol fees on each site.
Common Questions
Buying Questions, Answered Plainly
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do spare destination slots unlock Sedco, HL7 or TAP paging?
- No. Spare destination slots on Connect, Standard and Professional increase how many places an event can land — they do not activate premium protocols. A premium connector add-on ($300/year, $30/month or $900 perpetual per protocol) or an Enterprise licence is required for Sedco, ASM, HL7, Tecom C4, Gallagher, Hanwha, TAP paging, Modbus, phone call TTS, and Azure.
- Can I buy a licence today and commission it on a live job?
- Yes. Prices are on /pricing — annual, monthly, and perpetual. Perpetual suits project work where the client keeps the box after handover. Install the Windows service, load the signed licence file, connect the source, configure the pipeline, and route to your destination. Monthly exists if the job has a defined end date and the client will not continue the service.
- Will it work with our old panel?
- Sentinel Bridge handles 14+ input types including raw serial (RS-232), TCP, UDP, file watch, MQTT, and protocol-specific decoders for nurse call, access and paging systems. Regex IO modifiers reshape unusual or proprietary string formats. Book a demo and send a capture of the feed from site — that is usually enough to confirm fit before committing to a licence.
- Is our event data safe on-site?
- The whole platform is an on-premises Windows service. Events never leave the building unless you deliberately route them to an external destination such as Teams or Azure. The HTTPS dashboard, local secrets store, and event store — SQLite by default, SQL Server for scale — all run on your own hardware with no cloud dependency.
- What happens when a source device drops off the network?
- Each pipeline has independent retry and circuit-breaker logic. A dropped source retries on a configurable schedule. If delivery fails after retries, events land in a dead-letter queue rather than disappearing silently. One failed pipeline does not affect the others running concurrently on the same machine.
- Which licence should a system integrator start with for a nurse call job?
- Connect ($600/year or $1,800 perpetual) is the entry point for a single nurse call feed. Add the Sedco or ASM premium connector add-on ($300/year or $900 perpetual) and the integration is live. For multiple independent pipelines or a full audit trail of every event and where it landed, step up to Professional. Full tier details at /pricing.
